Ray Gun Robot is a tech-oriented blog which will occasionally wander down other interesting paths.
The name has no significance. It was only chosen because it sounds cool and raygunrobot.com was available.
I'm Garrett Albright, a technically-minded twenty-something living in Northern California. While between careers, I started this blog as an outlet of my technical thoughts, triumphs and frustrations; to possibly make a few cents from advertising revenue; and in the fantastical hope that it would lead me to a job. I'm now employed as a web programmer for PHP and Flash, but I still write articles for RGR whenever I have the time and inspiration.
